Whopping Rs 500 cr budget for ShankarÂs next

Kalanidhi Maran, who had produced ÂRoboÂ(Endhiran in Tamil) with Rajanikanth under the direction of Shankar by spending the highest budget (Rs 160 cr) so far in Indian cinema.
Now the same producer is planning to bring out another film with another whopping budget of Rs 500 crore. The film would again be directed by Shankar and it would have two top south Indian stars Rajanikant and Kamal Haasan.
This would be for the first time after 30 years, both the super stars are joining hands to share the screen. It would be definitely a casting coup of sorts. The film would be simultaneously made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages.
Earlier, Rajani and Kamal worked together for several films like Antuleni Katha, Andamaina Anubhavam, Vayasu Pilichindi, 16 Vayathinile, Moondru Mudichu, Avargal and Thillu Mullu. Most of the films they played together are by their mentor K. Balachander.
Let us wait for this crazy combination of Kamal, Rajni and Shankar and who will bag the opportunity to play opposite the heroes.
